The small town of Sikhjδlma, once home to fishermen, is now a retreat for summer holiday seakers.
In the huge rocks left after the Ice age along the coast there are army bunkers, reminders of a different, long gone era.
This beautiful wooden boat, out of the rapidly freezing Baltic water for the winter, probably belongs to one of the few fishermen still in Sikhjδlma to find there livlihood in the Baltic's water's.
