Photographer's Note
The world is not always pretty, not even in one of the richer countries. In the mining town Grδngesberg things were looking very good in the mid 1900s. The iron ore was rich and times were good for Swedish industry when Europe was licking its wounds from WW II.
But in the later decades things started sliding. The mine was closed and people started to move away. Apartment houses built as late as 1970 and with modern standard of living were left empty. The frustrated youth that could not find jobs and future did the rest. Stones came in through the windows, doors were forced open and soon more or less everything was broken or painted with graffiti. The moist and the sub-zero winters did the rest.

Hi Ebbe,
The note and picture are synchronous. One can see the frustration just by the graffiti. What more the world is getting intolerant every single day.
A well composed picture with a nice note.
Have a nice time

This is not the most welcoming bathroom I've seen in my life. Frankly: not at all. But, I feel some kind of rebel atmosphere here. Rage? Refuse? Interesting though I prefer to stay far away from the place.

Thought provoking piece; thank you for the explanation note, it enriches the photo experience, especially for this one.
The B&W, along with the photo itself really embody everything you explained in the note - frustration, emptiness, and the stark, cold environment.
Perfect! Thank you for sharing!
