Photographer's Note
Another shot from my ibiza holiday and something completly differnt, i took many shots at this sunset with this boat incorporated, and im sure youll see a few more over the next few weeks, but this one is very differnt!
these boats go out off the bay of san antonio to watch the sunset and provide other photographers with nice sunset shots! i like the paraglider in the corner to add a little more detail to the picture!
i actually took it at this angle. i think it gives it a totally differnt look, and i just wanted to try something differnt to see how it looked, and i liked it!
normally im a bit anal about horizontal horizons, but not this time! and i dont want any jokers saying my horizon needs straightening! ;)
i hope you like it as much as i do for origionality more than anything.
my only problem with this shot is the flare off the sun, i cant decide if it adds or detracts from the picture, but thats for you to decide, i hope you like it
comments and critiques welcome, thanks for looking!

Ummm, not sure if I like the angle - but it's a good photo otherwise.
It attracted my attention anyway :-)

Nice photo, I tried the same angle (with a different ratio) in one of my late posted photos here. Good colours on this one!

Hi Steven,
Very nice idea to rotate this picture, it gives a very interesting shot of this wonderful sunset. I like the ship in front too, very well done!

A funny and different way to present a sunset - If your going to tilt do it well ;-)) I like the ship as silhouette -
Could it be the Post Procesing which gave those rings around the sun.

Hi Steven,
I'd share David's opinion, possibly we are too cosnservative ;-)
Seen as this it seems to me the ship is climbing a mountain pass !!! Bit nice colors and overall good photo quality for an original variation on the much practised sunset theme.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Interesting shot Steven, I'm not too keen on the angle either, but it is different and the golden colour is great.

Hi Steven! I like the rotation and also the sun as it is, because it gives the picture a special light and strength. It is indeed a beautiful and original image, I liked it!

Wow, I was take aback here. Nice sea sickness. Great results with this experimentation. Thats the PROPER Way to do a tilt. Very good.

I really enjoy this shot. I think the flare of the sun definitely benefits the photo...Nick

This is so creative. you might fall of the end of the world but so be it. I'm still very lost at photography and many of my horizons look like this (unintentionally). Seriously now there is nothing as good as a mind shift and this one is great. Beautiful colours as well.
