The monastery of San Juan de la Peρa, located in Santa Cruz de la Serσs, Huesca, was the most important monastery of Aragon in the Age Media. In his Pantheon a good number of kings of Aragon are buried. Its enclave is unique.

Hello Sergio,
The beautiful architecture is very interestingly squeezed into the tight area under the huge rock. It's an amazing view of a man-made structure being combined with nature. I love the contrast of the heavy rock and the almost fragile looking pillars and vaults.

Hello Sergio,
I heard of this monastery but have never visited it. It's fairly remote, I think.
Built under that huge rock, the monastery has a very unusual setting.
What a richly decorated gateway, arches and columns!

The beautiful arches look so delicate and small underneath the large rock hanging over them. You placed them very nicely in the middle of the photo and the good lighting helped to bring out the many details and textures very well.
