Photographer's Note
I couldn't post this one if I was much concerned about originality, as not only this building, but also this POV, is largely represented here. The originality of the architecture compensates for the lack of originality of the photo. All that is beautiful to the eye is prone to be photographed and that is specially true for architecture, but Calatrava's work seem to have been designed to challenge the photographers to experiment all possible angles and it's no surprise to me how some of our fellows here have extensive galleries with his works.
This photo is a stitch of two vertical shots. I could hardly cover the whole building and the part of the pool below using the shortest focal distance I had (10mm, equivalent to 20mm in a full-frame), so I went for a stitch.

Hello my neighbour Jose, that's a very different architecture from a coastal Spanish city which I haven't seen yet. It looks like a different but more complicated version of Casa da Musica in Porto. I also liked the ones in the WS. I wonder the indoor photos of the building.

Calatrava is a genius no doubt about it! He has been appointed to design two pedestrian bridges for Calgary and I can't wait to see what they will look like. This is a very nice image. The light is almost perfect to give you beautiful colours and sharp details. Looking from this angle I get a faint idea that this building resembles a Roman helmet or something along the lines. Nice work Jose :-)

This famous building has been presented on several occasions but I've never seen it under this excellent angle.
It looks like a shark's face !
Your framing is perfect with a strong symmetrical effect, and the great light offers natural and beautiful colours.

Olá José, acho que deverás estar a exagerar mais uma vez. A minha memória não é confiar mas acho que é a 1ª vez que vejo esta aproximação e digo-te que está espectacular. Ok, o Calatrava é um génio mas também não é so clicar no botão. Eu nunca teria conseguido esta foto pois não sei fazer colagens...Nunca visitei isto e tenho a certeza que quando o fizer transformar-me-ei numa criança excitada com um brinquedo novo na mão. Talvez, agora que vou para Granada...O WS1 também é impressionante mas o ângulo é mais convencional, acho eu. Gosto muito do escaravelho que se vê aqui.

Yes, I have seen some good posts of this wonderful architecture with good light and reflection on the water.
But this POV is new for me, and it immediately stands out from your gallery thumbnails. Regardless of which POV versions, it is still amazing for me to see this building with such a awesome design feature that truly shows a great artist's work.
The shapes and forms are really impressive work of art. And there is no other way to present it better than symmetry for this POV.
Another factor that maybe overlooked is the fact that the pool of water is made to appear green, in contrast to the blue sky makes the saturation a good thing with your CPL.
If I compare this Valencia architecture kind of subject shooting, I would say Malaysia's Twin Tower will get people excited as a must-shoot.

Comme toujours , beaucoup de finesse dans le grain de ton image , les couleurs sont fidèles et finement nuancées . L'architecture est vraiment sophistiquée et étonnante , on peut en saluer la hardiesse mais également lui préférer davantage de sobriété .

Un architecte à l'imagination fertile mais qui doit donner bien des soucis aux entreprises qui sont chargées d'exécuter le travail de construction !!! Une belle série sur ce palais que l'on a plus l'habitude à voir de nuit avec tous ses éclairages. Très beau stitch ici avec un ciel qui donne beaucoup de dynamique à l'image. Bien vu José, bravo.

É realmente muito original esta arquitetura e as suas imagens são um importante registro. Os prédios ao fundo, que não parecem estar muito longe, dão idéia do colosso que é este prédio monumental. E o caminhão ali ao lado confirma a impressão.

The photographic rendition of Calatrava's creation is so detailed and precise, I feel the vicarious pleasure of being there. Recently the talented architect's bridge in Venice came received first prize for a modern bridge, and Leonardo's 500 year old design, implemented in Norway 500 years after the design was created, received third prize.

I am a little late coming back to you as I am in the middle of moving to a new house in another village, in the wood this time.Not much time for TE sadly.
How come all the good architect with a vision are so far away.God knows how they will be useful here.Well, in thruth, we had Thallibert designs the olympic stadium , and 20 years later, we are still paying for the most modern ruin in modern time.
I like this bulding and your trio of photos do a good job at presenting the numerous face of this scarab like monument.Do they have anything to do with the Klingons?...
I could not imagine all the photographic experiment you could do here.The clouds, on each side are framing the building and can only hope for a very windy day, so you will get speeding clouds at the blue hour! It will be a treat. Wish youluck getting it.
