Built in 1887 by Ricardo Velαzquez Bosco after the Crystal Palace of London, the Palacio de Cristal in Parque del Buen Retiro was initially used to house exotic plants brought over from the Philippines. Now it is mainly used for temporary exhibitions.

e' un peccato che in questo edificio non si continui la coltivazione di piante esotiche, ma almeno gli hanno trovato un utilizzo....
bella immagine e composizione c'e' solo un pς di sovraesposizione nel cielo ma non era evitabile.

mi piace molto come hai composto questa immagine, mettendo i soggetti al posto giusto. La foto θ piacevole anche per i colori autunnali ed per il bel gioco di luci e ombre sull'erba. Una fotografia ricca di dettagli ben catturati. Bravo!

So etwas mόsste man haben ... ;-)
Ein wunderschφnes Gebδude in einer ebensolchen Umgebung. Wδhrend heute ein Gewδchshaus ein Zweckbau ist, hat man hier fast ein Schlφsschen daraus gemacht. Mit gefallen auch das schφne Seitenlicht und der "krδftige" Vordergrund, der den Glasnbau irgendwie leicht erscheinen lδsst.
Grόίe aus dem sonnig-milden Siegen - und ein schφnes Wochenende!

Hello Laszio, Beautiful setting. The people in the picture really add to the excellent compostion. I believe the horizon is slightly out of balance however. Just a bit too sloping. The picture almost invites the viewer to come and sit on a bench too. Well done. Roger
PS Recently, I sent you two photos from Budapest taken a long time ago and asked if you could identify the one building. Perhaps you did not receive it?

A wonderful picture. The backlight and autumn colours are very nice here. I particular I like the cascade of water and the lady sitting on the bench. TFS and have a nice Sunday!

gut durchkomponiertes Bild von diesem Glaspalast in herbstlicher Umgebung. Mir gefδllt das Spiel von Licht und Schatten im Vordergrund. Die Menschen bringen etwas Leben in das Bild und richten zusammen ihre Blicke auf das Highlight im Bild; den "Palacio de Cristal" in Madrid. Gefδllt mir sehr gut.

Good morning Laszlo,
nice presentation of the Crystal Palace in Madrid,that is framed perfect between the two trunks of the trees and the sitting woman from the bench to admired it.I like the colourful trees because of the Autumn,as the impressive fountain in front of it.
