Photographer's Note
Milling giants about to strike. Danger ahead. Be afraid. This is not a road to be travelled on lightly. Better prepare yourself for some serious fighting. Ambush ahead, remain chivalrous.

I hope you enjoy my 3rd picture in this little series from La Mancha.

THIS PICTURE was taken on the road, approaching the famous windmilss of Consuegra.

I like this photo with the windmills framed against the sky and the road leading my eyes to each of them. I almost wish the paved highway wasn't there, that the only route would be the sand/dirt path that would have seen Don Quiote and Sancha Panza passing by on their quest.
Tfs,
Mark

Dag Bennyu,

Hi Benny
A really interesting shot. The mills really do look as though they are marching along ready to attack anyone who approaches.

Godenavond Benny,

Vele groeten, Paul

Hello Benny
The windmills in Greece 'can go back from where they come' !
I never saw such a large family on the same picture.
Very attractive photographically and probably historically.
Thy chose the best spot on the countryside to get noticed :) Impeccable photo technique showing the unique spanish oddity.
Cheers

Hello Benny,
Apart from the fact that Don Quijote would feel triggered from this view, it is a nice landscape. I like the curves in the road.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hi Benny
A spectacular one with the road dropping rising and bending into the group of mills which once again look great against that blue sky.

Hello Benny,
Yes, the windmills look ready for battle!
I am afraid!!
You have chosen a great viewpoint, so the descending road leads us into enemy territory, where we quickly become surrounded by armed windmills!
It's a crisp, well composed scene, full of drama!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Benny, the empty road seems to be the dividing lines between the two groups of windmills!
This couldn't be anywhere other than Spain with those distinctive windmills.
An excellent shot, thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Benny,
Wonderful view of this group of old windmills. I wonder what was the reason for building so many. The road creates strong perspective. I like that bus lane marking. It is surprising on an open landscape like this.

Hi Benny
The strength of this image lies in contrasting colors between the well spread out windmills and deep blue sky aided by a blissful light. The image is well balanced & composed with the bouncy road leads all the way in. A very appealing shot
Best Regards
