Photographer's Note
this one from my ibiza travelogue is taken at about the exact same time as Yesterdays Shot from the same place, as i was pearched on the rocks.
the boat from yesterdays shot is the boat that is closest to the sun and im sure you can match the two up! this is an unzoomed largly uncropped version just to show you how many boats gather along the sea to get the best views of the sunset, but i think a nice sunset would not be complete without a nice silhouette of a boat! so they are definatly missing out!
i like this shot for gradual colour changes from the sun bright yellow up to the darker blue of the sky im not sure about sun flare again, but what do you think of it? some of my best pictures have had sun flares across them! what about this one?

Hi Steven,
Nice photo. I like the colours and composition - the sun is at 2/3 and the horizon at 1/3 (almost), very classical. I like the reflection on the water and the sky is very neat. Again a cliche, but well managed, so well done!

Another good sunset photo Steven. As you say, there's a nice range of gradual colour changes that suit the photo perfectly. I don't think the flare looks out of place, adds something to the photo even.
I've had it on some of my photos, but it's been worse that that, ending in a red tinge at the end. This is nowhere near that bad, and even could be taken as being intentional. It adds a sparkle to the sun, I don't think it's out of place.

It's another nice sunset photo Steven, I never get tired looking at good sunsets.
The only minor change I would make to the photo would be to crop the boat on the far left off, I think personally I don't like it's modern silhouette as much.

Very beautiful shot. I think the exposure is a little high for my opinion, but it's beautiful like this too.

Nice sunset picture, with the sea and sailboats moreover, I can only like it! Colors are really nice.
I'm not bothered by the flare itself but I think the sun's light is too strong and the bright white spot attracts the eyes a bit too much.

Nice low sun, silhouette of the boats, and the reflections on the water, a classic sunset, with the gradual colours also.
Cant help noticing though you have submitted this photo to the theme sunsets of Portugal, surely Ibiza is in Spain?

This one turned out pretty nice, Ste. I like the staggered lineup and positioning of the various boat silhouettes, and the breakthrough effect of the setting sun just a few moments before it hits the horizon line. A delightful color palette captured, and a relaxing presentation overall.
