Hello friends and colleagues, today I offer you a nice view of the Asturian village of Luarca, an interesting and pretty village on the Cantabrian coast. I hope you like it, then some letters about the villa.

Luarca (officially and in Asturian Ḷḷuarca) is a parish of the council of Valdιs, in the Principality of Asturias and a town of this parish. The parish has a population of 5292 inhabitants (INE 2009) distributed in 5.84 km ² and almost entirely in the homonymous village, except 940 inhabitants that populate the places of the parish. In this parish is the town of Luarca, capital of the council of Valdιs. It is located 92 km from Oviedo, capital of the Principality. Its parish church is dedicated to Santa Eulalia.

It is a locality of passage of the Road of Santiago and has hostel of pilgrims, located in Almuna, to about two kilometers of the town of Luarca. Among the places most visited are the lighthouse and the palace of the Marquis de Ferrera.
