Hi again Talia, the exposure here is very well balanced between the interior of the room and the gardens of the Alhambra outside. But I think that,again, you've tried to include too much detail in the photograph. Is the main subject the meal or the garden? The yellow paper napkin holder is also a little distracting and I think I would have 'gardened' it out of the way before pressing the shutter button ;-) Not sure too what the DOF is that you refer to. This is usually depth-of-field - the depth in the image of elements apparently in focus - and is determined by the lens aperture used when the exposure is made (large aperture e.g. f2, small DOF; small aperture e.g. f16, large DOF). I'm not sure it can be influenced in post-processing. But another nice try and I look forward to more. Best wishes Stephen

I like this still life. Good ingredients. Though, the focus seems to be not on the appropriate place, it's the strongest on the chairs behind, while the focus on the glass of wine, and basket with bread would give a nicer result, I think. And use a wide diafragm. If you can put diafragm's in your camera, use F2.8 or F4 maybe, for these scene's. A sharp background is disturbing for these scene's. Also try to isolate the scene, a higher POV would deliver the table as background, rather than a few tables and lot's of trees. This makes the image very busy.
