Nice reflections in the wet pavement with excellent sharpness and nice shadow play of the trees on the facades of the bg building at right. Good repetition of the flagstones arranged in a circular pattern. Tfs!

Hello Daniel,
I've heard that Ljubliana was a very elegant city and your picture confirms this impression. A very effective square frame with great depth and fine arrangement of shapes and colours. The building with the statue on its top is very well placed and the view is well completed by partial views of the neighbouring buildings and the textured, bright and almost festive cobblestone. The people add movement and interest. Congratulations and thank you!

I have to be honest, i know NOTHING about this country or this city. That's what happens when you live so far away in western Canada, I'm sure i'd know more about this area if I lived in Europe. After reading your note about how much you love this place, it makes me want to learn more about it.

cool to have the lighting on the road, lots of reflected illumination, also like the forms and shapes.

This would be an interesting image without the expanse of wet cobbles; including them was a masterstroke, as it's raised this photograph to a much higher level. The reflections really make the shot. Nice one.
