Photographer's Note
Ljubljana is a very romantic mideuropean town. In the afternoon, people walk around easy, having a chat with friends, using the time to get far from the noise of everydays going to work and back. Atmosphere is really relaxed, although there are a lot of people around. There are many coffee places around the central river called Ljubljanica and most of them use the first days of autumn to spread all the way to the river, some f them going on the rivers many brigdes also. The view is fantastic and the latte is competing fine with the view. This is not a staged photo, it's just a memory of the passing by photographer.

Interesting shot here. Good perspective granting a good depth to the image and very nice reflections in the water. Putting the cup of tea in foreground was a good idea. I would have cropped a bit from the bottom in order to avoid the wood.
But well done anyway!

prav cutim mir in spokojnost, ki veje iz te slike in lep pogled, ki se odpira med drevesi po Ljubljanici je tako vabljiv. In ne samo to, danes sem zaspal v sluzbo, me je klicala sodelavka ob 8.15 na telefon, da kje sem... sem bil se v postelji ;o) sranje... ena kava bi mi zdej tako prisla prav.

A really nice idea Aleks - very well seen but there are a few things that might have been done to make it slightly stronger as a picture. The DOF is just excellent - the colour and sharpness are really nice but compositionally I would suggest a few small changes.
First, the pic would benefit from a slight tilt to the right, secondly the wood at the bottom would be better not there. I would probably experiment with including the balustrade and one just focusing from the top lintel and above but the more I look at the image I appreciate the more obvious information that we are looking out from a bridge.
Lastly, I'm not sure if a slightly closer frame - perhaps with a little less sky might have focused our attention more on the building and the cup and glass - were you right down to the 35mm end of your lens when you took this?

Hi Aleksandar, lepo in zanimivo. Dobra kombinacija in odlična kompozicija. Jaz vedno gledam da me kakna extra stvar ne moti pri sliki ampak to je izpadlo zelo dobro.
