Photographer's Note
Bohinj lake is the largest pemanent and nature made lake in Slovenia. It is 4.350m long, wide 1250m and the deepest part of the lake is 45 m. Lenght of the lake's coastline is 10.900m. The lake was made by a glaicer.

Bohinj lake is a real gem, I visited it last summer. It's as beautiful as it is cold. Judging by your masterly photo it looks fantastic in winter too.

Hi Denis,
Nice photos, which can already guess the approaching end of winter. Stones in the foreground are nicely covered with more snow. The lake is still pretty iced over. The hills in the distance the center of the lake are beautifully sharp. Moreover, very nice color.

What a perfect composition! The snowny stone on the foreground brings a lot of depth to your picture, and the mountains on the background are making a kind of V shape.

good use of the wide angle to include a stone covered of snow to lead the look on the lake and surrounding mountains. The cloudy sky adds a lot to your shot. Good management of the light to get pale shadows.
