The church of St Joseph (Franciscan)
Originally a gothic one-nave church of the Carmelites from 1380 it was rebuilt in the late of 17e century for the Franciscans. The master builder Jan Tornyossi finished its Baroque makeover in 1709-18. The statues of the saints on the facade (1734) come from the workshop of Simon Griming.
Stitch of two pictures.

Hello Pierre,
A good point of view to show us this magnificent architecture to good effect. The passers-by offer a good sense of scale and contribute to the mood. The weather was not kind for you and it is evident from the slight halo around the building that you had to do quite a bit of pp work. Nevertheless, well worth seeing. Good stitch work.

Bonjour Pierre,
Bon dimanche.

Hi Pierre
Good pp work with the stitching. Here the slight ghostly halos around the church add mood as they resemble supernatural auras. Good colour, framing & contrast. Tfs!
