Pogled na stari ambar i kucu, ispred tvrdjave Manstira Ravanica.
Ambar ili zitnica je gradjevina cije ja osnovna namena skladistenje zita ili stocne hrane. Najcesce se gradi s ulazom na vecoj visini kako bi se sprecio pristup misevima i drugim zivotinjama stetocinama. Ambari su karakteristicni za poljoprivredna podrucja i seoska gazdinstva.

View of the old ambar and the house, in front of the fortress of the Monastery Ravanica.
A ambar or granary is a building whose main purpose is to store grain or fodder. It is usually built with an entrance at a higher height in order to prevent access to mice and other pests. Ambari are characteristic of agricultural areas and rural farms.

Zdravo Pavle, that old granary is made of wood and concrete. It was used in the past and maybe nowadays to store the grains and the fodder. Nice facade and autumn colors. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Beautiful wooden granary built in the extension of the house.
The pictures in the WS show the attractive traditional architecture very well.

Hello Pavle,
You captured this long wooden house from a good angle and the wooden structure with the large X-shaped parts is very clearly seen. The dense forest on the hills makes a good backdrop as well.

Hello Paja,
I like the repetition of the triangular shapes on the faηade of the building. An excellent wide angled view with nice linear perspective guiding the eye towards the centre left. Nice Fall colors in the wooded bg hills too. Tfs!
