Old carriage ...

A friend bought an old carriage, likes to reconstruct them and makes new ones.
A cart is a wooden four-wheeled vehicle designed so that it can be towed by animals.
They are known to have been used in the 1st century BC. Even very old examples had features such as a rotating front axle and a wedge to secure the wheel from the axle.
During the 9th century, several additional improvements were made to the body and construction, so carts supplanted two-wheelers as a means of transport for passengers and intercity transport. Due to such a construction, the carts were heavier, their square body was much more useful for transporting cargo and agricultural products, and due to the four wheels, they were more stable and more pleasant to drive.
In the 16th century, carriages appeared that were thrown out of passenger carriages.
An old carriage adorns many yards.
