Photographer's Note
When in Prizren I noticed an enthusiastic crowd and heard Turkish music, so I went to investigate. I discovered a busload of Turkish entertainers, dancers and musicians on tour through the Balkans. For a moment I thought I was back in Turkey! This is a detail of the side of their tour bus. 'Yunanistan' is the Turkish word for Greece. Whoever designed this was a good graphic artist.

Hello Chris,
A better than average graffiti, it's just surprising to find it on a bus. It tells us something about the Balkans, from a Turkish point of view. I see they visited Sırbistan (Serbia) and Selanik (Thessaloniki).

It is so much fun finding unexpected happenings when visiting a country. Exactly the same happened to us in both Greece and Germany! These travelling bands are enthusiastic and entertaining.
The design on the bus looks to have been done professionally. It is very well designed and painted and you captured it with excellent clarity.

A beautiful photo with attractive colours and a beautiful representation. Probably not from a graffiti artist but from a top designer from an advertising agency.

The Turks ruled this area for 600 years.
Nice and interesting photo.
I hope that once you come to my central Serbia. You must have seen that all the most important Serbian Orthodox buildings are in Kosovo, which is the heart of our existence.

Chris, that Turkish tour bus is richly decorated by a painting representing different places in the Balkan. Remarkable artwork where i can see signs, monuments, the road and the bus. Neat photo.
