Soko banja.
Pogled na deo Sokobanje sa terase restorana.
Sokobanja je gradsko naselje i banja u opstini Sokobanja u Zajecarskom okrugu.
Nalazi se visini od 400 m nadmorske visine. Kroz Sokobanju protice reka Sokobanjska Moravica. Poznata je turisticka odrednica za rekreativni, a posebno banjski turizam. Nalazi se izmedju karpatskih i balkanskih planina, Rtnja i Ozrena. Za Sokobanju su vezani i Lepterija, izletiste koje se nalazi uz Sokobanjsku Moravicu, i poznati srednjovekovni grad Soko Grad (banjski). U blizini banje nalazi se vodopad Ripaljka, koji je periodican i visok je dvadesetak metara. Sokobanja je poznata po manifestaciji Prva harmonika, tradicionalnom takmicenju harmonikasa koje se odrzava svake godine krajem avgusta.
Organizovani banjski turizam poceo je 1837. godine, za vreme knjaza Milosa Obrenovica. Jo i danas u centru naselja na korzou je Milosev konak.

Sokobanja is a town and spa in the municipality of Sokobanja in the Zajecar district.
It is located at an altitude of 400 m above sea level. The Sokobanja Moravica River flows through Sokobanja. It is a well-known tourist destination for recreational and especially spa tourism. It is located between the Carpathian and Balkan mountains, Rtanj and Ozren. Lepterija, a picnic area located along the Sokobanj Moravica, and the well-known medieval town - Soko Grad (spa) are also connected to Sokobanja. Near the spa is a waterfall Ripaljka, which is periodic and about twenty meters high. Sokobanja is known for its "First Accordion" event, a traditional accordion competition held every year at the end of August.
Organized spa tourism began in 1837, during the reign of Prince Milos Obrenovic. Even today, in the center of the village on the corso is Milos's konak.

Hi Pavle
You took this photo from a restaurant, not a rooftop haha, you often do :) I like how the red roofed homes are in two sections, a fg section, and a further bg section. The depth is excellent, and the lighting is spot on perfect. lovely light and colours are easily spotted. Nice shot indeed. cheers

A superb elevated vantage point offering a fine overview of the sea of red tiled roofs stretching away to the distance. Good sharpness and well framed and composed using the rule of thirds. Tfs!

You had an excellent view over the city from this restaurant!
I would imagine that it is very popular with customers!
The red roof tops are an attractive sight. especially bathed in this warm, autumn sunlight.
It was a good idea to include the red house, at right angles to the restaurant, for it makes a useful guide into the scene, where the misty mountains make a fine sense of depth.

Dobro vece Pavle, the restaurant terrace offers a stunning view on Soko Banja and a deep visual field. It is a tree filled town with no towers spoiling the landscape. Various activities like the spa, picnic and events are possible here. Fine colors, good image quality, instructive photo note, regards.

I find these towns with a lot of charm, with all the single-family homes with one or two heights, no blocks, and a lot of trees among the houses.
