Cincu (Grossschenk, Nagysink), judetul Brasov.
Anul primei atestari scrise: 1329.
Biserica fortificata dateaza din secolul al XIII-lea. Sistemul defensiv cuprindea doua incinte concentrice, din care s-au pastrat doar fragmente, majoritatea constructiilor de acest gen fiind demolate ξn secolul al XIX-lea.
Bazilica romanica situata ξn centrul ansamblului are sapte travee, ξn partea de vest fiind prevazuta cu un
masiv turn-clopotnita ξn stil romanic, cu patru arce la parter, iar ξn partea de est cu doua turnuri ξn capatul colateralelor.
Corul a fost despartit de nava printr-o bolta ξn arc semicircular. Ξn partea estica se observa absida semicirculara, care ξn secolul al XV-lea a fost demolata si ξnlocuita cu un cor gotic poligonal. Nava si corul au o bolta cilindrica, cu penetratii si nervuri ξn forma de retea din goticul tβrziu, bolta fiind sustinuta de pilastri adosati de asemenea ξn
perioada gotica tβrzie. La nivelul superior al navelor laterale se pastreaza o fereastra romanica bifora.
Altarul poliptic „Sf. Apostol Toma“ a fost cumparat din comuna Mosna ξn 1722, avβnd elemente de Renastere, gotic tβrziu si adaosuri baroce.

Fortified church dates from the XIII century. The defense comprises two concentric chambers, of which only fragments have survived, most buildings of this kind being demolished in the nineteenth century.
Roman basilica situated in the center of the assembly has seven spans, in the west are provided with a
massive bell tower in Romanesque style, with four arches on the ground floor and in the east with two towers in the end collateral.
The choir was separated from the vessel through the arch semicircular arch. In the east is observed semicircular apse, which in the fifteenth century was demolished and replaced by a polygonal Gothic choir. The nave and the choir have a cylindrical vault, with penetration and ribs as the network of late Gothic, the dome supported by pillars also ados
late Gothic period. At the top level of the lateral vessels are preserved Romanesque Bifora a window.
Altar polyptych "St. Apostle Thomas "was bought from the village Mosna in 1722, with elements of Renaissance, Gothic and later Baroque additions.
