Photographer's Note
Former residence of the Kings of Romania, the Peles castle has a smaller, less known sibling- the Pelisor (diminutive name of the same castle). Built in a Germanic wooden frame style, the Pelisor is decorated in Art Nouveau style and today is a part of the same museum as the larger Peles castle. The interior was re-furnished and restored to allow the modern visitor an insight in the life of the last ruling Romanian dinasty.

Hi Marius
Interesting to see this building in black and white. I remember this view as full of colour when I visited. And yet, in monochrome, we are able to appreciate the intricate details better, without the distractions of various colours and hues.
Best wishes
Kasia
