Even national heroes join the good fight! Keep your masks on, wash hands often, keep folks away for a while..
Technical note : this is a much older picture I took some 8 years ago,it was a humorous protest against the air quality degradation in Bucharest a while ago. Four of these statues then lined up in front of the University of Bucharest were found wearing pink gas masks in the morning, and this particularly warlike fellow, the first to unite the three Romanian principalities in 1600,king Michael the Brave,was the most "kitted out" as his horse was also provided with a gas mask (how thoughtful of him). However in the light of the new coronavirus outrage this old image got new meanings.
