Photographer's Note
This photo is a particular one, because sincereally is the first shot of my Obidos - Series that show people and Tourists for the first time in a main summer day. So my delay in this post and also my difficult way how you accept or think about this shot.
This is a beuatiful mediavel village in Portugal that is also a world patrimony, with good old architecture, history and good quality of life. In summer you have beautiful days and nights here, and also near!!!
Thanks for your attention and hope you enjoy this place as a alternatie place for your next summer in Portugal.
I don΄t sell nothing is only my opinion and my personal contribution to "TE" and quality places to go!

The half man works very nicely giving us a feeling of actually walking in the steet - thanks Fernando - a fine view indeed.

Hello Fernando,
I love this shot! This is one of the best places to sit and watch the people as they stroll by. The Ginja is pretty good too. The flowers above this snack bar are huge and one of the biggest displays in all of Obidos. I will be back there again in April when all the flowers are blooming; I can smell the flowers now! Keep up the good work.

Nγo tem hotel mas deveria ter...
Desde que o serviηo fosse como as fotos que mostra tinha cliente certo...
Nota: Os turistas nunca me incomodaram, nem sequer ao tirar fotos gosto delas estιreis...Se as quiser compro postais nocturnos ou com vigilantes a impedir a passagem de pessoas. As pessoas, moradores ou outros, fazem parte integrante do mundo que fotografamos, nem mais.

Very nice street scene, with a lot of mouvement combined with peace. I love the flowers, and the ladies in the right back, wonder what they were doing...sharing the latest...maybe some village gossip, or being happy tourists? :)

Its certainly a place to visit, and a terrace to stop at for a "Porto". Nice perspective withe the upper colours. ( and again the natural technic to "show what you see" with this man at left :)))

Fantastic flowers hanging in front of the snack bar are adding charming accent to this lovely street scene from Obidos. Very natural colors and good details. I see few empty chairs, and I should be over there sitting and drinking expresso. Very well seen and done.Congratulations.

Very good composition, Fernando. It looks as if the man is the observer of the scene and not the photographer. As if you wants to show what the man sees. Excellent.

I wanted to comment on a slightly less popular shot, but you don't really have those do you? ;)
Its interesting how you can pick out who's a tourist and who isn't by just looking at them. I really like the contrast between the purple flowers and white walls and the way you depicted Portugal so realistically. Good job.
