Hello friends,
Another photo on the beach of Manta Rota, I hope you enjoy this view.
Manta Rota Beach is a very extensive beach, connected to the village of Manta Rota that, despite all the tourist development in the last years, still conserves some of its original character of a fishermen village.
The beach is surrounded by golden dunes, specially in the western and in the eastern parts, given that the centre is filled with tourist infrastructures.
More frequented in the centre, one can still find peaceful and relaxed sites on the sides of the beach, a bit further from the central area.
Playa de Manta Rota
Ésta es una extensa playa asociada a la población de «Manta Rota», que aún mantiene algo de su caracter original de tierra de pesca, aunque sea actualmente un importante centro turístico. El arenal delimita el sistema lagunar de «Ria Formosa» en la parte oriental. El cordón dunar es ancho especialmente en oriente y en occidente de la población, ya que en el centro dominan los servicios turísticos. Pasadizos elevados llevan a los visitantes hasta el arenal. Una línea refrescante de chopos marca el aparcamiento oriental desta playa. Menos frecuentada que la vecina zona balnear de «Monte Gordo», ofrece aún esquinas tranquilas sobretodo en los extremos del arenal.

a lovely image with a very effective and well considered simple composition that exalts the textures and colours and plays with the contrasts and the light intringuingly. I love the dynamic diagonals in the sky and the superb, smooth, cold hues that contrast in a striking way the heat, warm tones and rough textures on the beach. We all know its yours even without looking at the name above it.
the wispy clouds slowly passing across the blue sky is the main focal point for me.

me gusta la potencia cromática que has alcanzado con el cielo intensamente azul, decorado con unas nubes fantásticas, que parecen pintadas por algún artista sobrehumano.
Su contraste con los tonos dorados de la playa y los pardos y verdes de la vegetación del arenal, proporcionan un alto nivel estético a tu composición.
Has captado este trozo de naturaleza en estado puro, es una gran foto.

Hello Goncalo,
This is so artistic photograph, so it's interesting and impressive to see the beautiful contrast of brown dunes and blue sky which was divided half-and-half on the horizon. it's impressive that the plant life is dwelling also in the sand hill muscularly, too. And, the flowing line of clouds which is visible to sky draws out a good impact in this image. Well captured and excellent tone/clarity.
