this picture was taken on exit of the Oriente Station towards the Vasco da Gama Shopping, during the meeting with Mariusz Kamionka ( mkamionka )

Gare do Oriente is ituated on the Western area of Lisboa town, the Gare do Oriente is one of the most important transport hubs in the countrys capital.
Gare do Oriente includes a Metropolitan station, a high-speed, commuter and regional train hub, a local, national and international bus station, access to the main roads and access in the city, a large area of car parking, a shopping centre (Vasco da Gama) and also a police office.

The project was designed by the renowned Spanish architect and engineer Santiago Calatrava, and was elaborated as a transportation hub for the Worlds Exhibition 1998, that took place in this part of Lisboa, yet projected in order to serve the city after the big exhibition.

Gare do Oriente is situated in Parque das Naηυes, the most modern part of Lisboa, totally changed and urbanized for the World Exhibition 1998, and is now in the centre of the Lisboa of the 21st century, surrounded by several services, accommodation, luxury hotels, bars, all sorts of restaurants, international enterprises, museums, art galleries, shops and leisure centres

Wow, that's a contemporary shopping center and your framing is absolutely spot on, congrats. The shoppers are in the center but in the lower half of the shot what adds live and DOF. The futuristic architecture leads the viewer to the main shopping hall. You also used the blue hour to compose and shot a very geometric photograph, which stands out better at this time then during the day. Well done

Symmetry on this shot is quite effective. I like all the curvy arches against deep blue evening sky. Stunning modern architecture. I remeber this mall well. I also remember some security guy banning photography inside there.

Hello Aires, you find the perfect spot to get the great architecture of Calatrava. A coupel of years ago i was there but on the other side of the road. This is a much better spot. You handeld the light also very well.
