Photographer's Note
Cathedral "Sι", Lisbon, Portugal.
The "Sι de Lisboa" is the main cathedral of the Lisbon Patriarch and the oldest church in the city. Since the beginning of the construction of the cathedral, in the year 1147, the building has been modified several times and survived many earthquakes. It is located above the ruins of a former mosque. (More details about it's history: wiki)
Picture taken at 1600 without flash. I'll post a long exposure on WS.

Hi Mike. The original post is the best of these two - the WS feels a bit 'empty'. Good control of the light and not too noisy for ISO1600. Pity about the parked car on the right which spoils the composition a little. I have an almost identical shot and nearly got run over by a tram coming up the hill trying to exclude a parked car! Cheers . . . David
