After the cold weather. Portugal is beginning to have a temperature more Mediterranean.
On this day beautiful, with good weather and pleasant temperature of 24C. I went to the parish of Cascais, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and located in the margin west (W) the Lisbon.

Cascais (pron. IPA: [kɐʃ'kajʃ]) is a coastal town 30 kilometres west of Lisbon, with about 35,000 residents in the town. It is a cosmopolitan suburb of the Portuguese capital and one of the richest municipalities in Portugal. The former fishing village gained fame as a resort for Portugal's royal family in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Nowadays it is a popular vacation spot for both Portuguese and foreign tourists. Cascais is also a municipality with over 180,000 inhabitants. It is located in the Estoril Coast (named after Estoril, a civil parish), in Greater Lisbon subregion.It has an airport for general aviation serving the Lisbon Region in Tires (S. Domingos de Rana), "Aeroporto Municipal de Cascais". (In :Wiki)

Cascais Marina has a vocation for staging major International Events and is the ideal setting for welcoming and catering for the leisure and comfort of everyone who drops by.

In the recent past it hosted major races like ISAF Sailing World Championship, the European 49ers Championship, the QuebraMar Regatta, Cowes-Cascais, Portugal Sailing Tour-de-France, Portugal Match Cup, His Majesty King Juan Carlos Is Trophy including many other competitions which have helped to promote the name of Cascais Marina nationally and internationally.

The major competitions have not only brought together ocean sailors at the Marina but also many crowned heads of old Europe who are also lovers of the sea and good winds as is the case of King Juan Carlos of Spain, Constantine of Greece and Harold of Norway.

Skippers like Russell Cutts from New Zealand, the Australian Peter Gilmour, Jesper Radich of Denmark, Geoffrey Meek of South Africa, Bertrand Pacι of France, Peter Holmberg of the Team Alinghi, Ed Baird an American from Team Musto, Staffan Linderg from Finland, Christopher Law from Great Britain as well as the well-known Chris Dickson are just some of the ocean sailors who have already raced regatta in the waters of Cascais.

This is a nice shot of this great port. The line of sailboats adds nice action and direction to the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The seawall creates a nice diagonal through the shot.

Very unique to see this neat row of boats tucked along, from small size to big.

I think this is a superb setting because of the blue theme and bright light. The CPL brings out a great saturation of color.

But perhaps my biggest surprise is the f/3.2 which can give you this sharpness and depth! I would guess the tripod helps a lot here, so it is always a good thing to use tripod even if it may be troublesome to carry along.

A fine composition of the bay scenery.

That's a neat queue of small sail baots, all in white being led by the pilot boat! Indeed they look like toy boats, but when we see the size of the people on the shore we realise the scale. Like the colourful buildings as well which create lovely contrasts with the clear blue sky. Good work!

en esta foto no sσlo es muy bonito el pueblo tan bien captado en un buen encuadre, sino tambiιn me gusta mucho la presencia de estos pequeρos Optimist arrastrados por la lancha hacia el puerto, que dan un toque muy simpαtico a la composiciσn.
La luminosidad y los colores son magnνficos, en una imagen muy nνtida y con alta calidad.

I know well this small sailing dinghies: they are Optimist class and are used for sailing courses for children here too.
You have captured them well all in a row. I like the fine natural colours and light here and those white reflections of the sails on the water.
A pleasant view and a good composition,
