This shot was made at Summer 2004 at Obidos. This is one of the most important old, historical villages, touristic and wonderful nice places to visit in Portugal. Is a village that is also a world patrimony, with good old architecture and history.
Thanks for your attention and hope you enjoy this place for your next summer in Portugal.

Fernando!
You shoving us a beautiful and interesting architecture from Obidos. I like the great composition with people gathering in front probably a gift store. The light is very pleasant, the colors are very good, specially colors of flowers. The perspective of the wall /of the castle? / is adding very interesting architectural accent to this composition. Thanks for posting excellent photo, because we can learn a lot about different kind of architecture from over the world. Congratulations.
Sincerely

Hi Fernando,
I'm sorry, next summer will be Scotland and a little bit of Denmark. But you show that Portugal can be a good alternative.
But why did you try to get as less tourist as possible on this picture? It look as if you cropped most of them out of the picture.

the architecture in this shot is truly beautiful. i think it had a good effect by cropping out part of the tourist by uncluttering the shot so we can appreciate those wonderuful houses without any distractions. a polarizer would have been nice to have here to give you a bluer sky. still a great shot!

Hello fernando,
My favorite town! What can I say, you have captured the feeling of the town. It is a "Touristy", town as you can tell from the people around the store, but is also one of the best medievel towns in all of Europe! The picture has many elements, but they all work together very well.
Very nice job! I cannot wait to return in April..........

Hi Fernando, This photo brings me to a worry free small town environment. The layers of people, the houses and the ancient wall makes viewer to trace from now to past, and to ancient. You have brought us an excellent angle to view the scene.

I find of course a place photographied by excellent Rettager who provided nice graphism from this place whith also the typical yellow we see on the left. Like the fact that your compositions are built to show some place, or give a lot from you impressions in geography and photography too. Perspective is excellent and all based on the architecture. Quality is good and lines are strong under the castle wall up the frame.
Well done

The village seems very lovely, i like the different colors on the walls but pity you don't have a better weather and light when you take your photo.

As melhores saudaηυes sorrindo...

Another great shot of this series - I like the perspective. Once your shots are directed to the right, now it's going to the left side of the street, which is a nice change. Obidos is definitely a place I'll visit in the future :)

Hi Fernando :)
Maybe you could have made a framing more on people: it would have given less importance to the sky which is slightly overexposed. However, the point of view is beautiful and I like a lot this set of houses, showing us the typical Portuguese architecture. The ramparts and the castle's tower in background add historical elements to the shot. Nicely done, Fernando.

Olα Fernando,
Esta parece ser a unica foto sobre Obidos em que aparece gente e turistas com fartura. Gosto do enquadramrnto, da luminosodade obtida e das cores e detalhes que capturaste bem.
