Blue&Sea&Cloudy Pico&Return Boat, a photo from Acores, Islands

Photographer's Note

A small Pause in recent European scanned pictures of my past travels by work and time holidays with a non digital camera.

So, first of all, this is a Capture of a returning Pico to Fayal island boat transfer that I promised in my recent posts to show in some detailed posts. Now, I will present some moments of my Azores Landscapes in this beautiful ISLAND of central Azores.

This was captured just near little Madalena Harbour and this is a great place to make some fine pictures. Here we can make a Postcard of Madalena by motion boat, and this is a small village near PICO Mountain that you can see at your right view and with nice surroundings beauties.

Now I will present you and by a new TE Member with the nickname POLONAISE critique that liked the Seadoo WZ heading approach angle and motion here and so my previous post when I was arriving in other date to Horta Marina at Fayal Island I take the sportiv moment, that you can remember here: Link

ADITIONAL Information: In my Photo Information YOU have one WS-Workshop that is a complementary view of this place taken some seconds after this one that I posted. I hope you like also this view from the returning boat.

FINAL IMPORTANT NOTE: Here, at a near distance you see a sportiv man making is delightful water path in this beautiful channel that is a piece of art wild nature made by our father gods of earth. I didn't have any special Zoom, so my "WZ" approach by my friendly lovely camera.

TECHNICAL Notes: ISO=80, Focal Lenght=27mm a smell of Hue and Contrast and filtered in the sky with sharpness by 30% by NEATIMAGE Software, by the conditionating reductions factors for post at TE.

These are natural and preserved wonders of Nature. See my previous posts and you have a good reference to take wonderful pictures in this wonderful nature at the Atlantic North Paradise.

Hi Fernando, A good combination of fun and beautiful view in this picture. I enjoy the dynamic in this picture with the waves and the water jet, as well as the distance view of the city and the mountain. A very well taken picture.

que linda foto da mare de agosto. Os azuis maravilhosos acoreanos e as nuvens.
O ceu e as suas nuvens parece iimitar o mar e as suas ondas. O jet skier paraece que esta tentando alcancar o barco.

The clarity of this photo is amazing! The photo also gives a perspective of the speed of the boat you are in by the size of the wake. There is also a good contrast between the whitness of the clouds and the deep blue of the sky. It seems as though the weather on this day was near perfect.

A nice sunny view showing well the local white architecture against the greens around, I like too the background peak with the hanging cloud and the guy on the sae motorbike that adds motion... and this is where I see a problem in this photo, it is framed too wide (and it is rather unusual for me to tell that, I'm a real wide angle lover !). I think you should have zoomed to avoid the trace of your boat and place this sea-bike guy on the foreground, giving the sensation it moves straight to the viewer, to me this would have given a much better dynamism to the view. Well just my idea anyway, maybe others will think it is right as it is !

Bem me parecia que nγo iria conseguir estar muito tempo longe do mar...
Mais uma fabulosa captura do mar para o porto e pico emerso em nuvens como ι habitual. Para alιm dos elementos habitualmente atractivos nas suas fotografias (nuvens do cιu e rasto da espuma no mar) gosto mesmo muito do pormenor da Igreja lα atrαs. Para mim, ι como a cereja no topo do bolo. Excelentes cores e clareza de imagem, como jα ι igualmente habitual. O pormenor da mota de αgua ι interessante, mas eu nγo o aproximaria, como sugeriu o Jean-Yves (perderia-se o rasto de espuma e uma boa porηγo deste mar...).

Love the way you captured the white foam over the waves caused by the effect of the speed boat together with the water jet, this give you a lot of action, the clouds covering the mountain looks very nice. Great colours contrast between the sharp blue sea and the colorful village.

Olα Fernando. A plasant summertime view from the Azores where the vivid colors and pleasant scenery make for a welcome diversion from central-European winter. The "big sky" above the village and sea works well. I would have a similar suggestion as Jean-Yves regarding the framing and think this could also look good with a bit of a crop at the bottom to put more focus on the sea-bike guy. But that doesn't mean that your version is bad in any way.

Le sillage laissι par le bateau donne toujours une impression de force et de puissance, j'aime l'ιcume blanche qui se forme et la prιsence de ce petit bateau qui semble vouloir jouer avec les vagues formιes.
Une trθs belle vue de la ville en arriθre-plan avec ces maisons blanches gorgιes de soleil.
Une bien jolie composition proposιe.

Gosto muito das cores naturais, e vocκ tem utilizado o filtro polarizador muito criteriosamente, justamente pela cor do ceu e o destaque das nuvems.

Meu amigo, o que eu tenho visto de Portugal nos meus 2 meses em TE, me fazem pensar que ja decidν o destino de minhas prσximas ferias, e eu te agradeco por iso!!!

I am still a bit away from posting, but find a real pleasure in going to the compositions...
Its is not the first time you use the rear wave from the boat and still with a built subject behind, So here it is with the seaside city ( beautiful white) and a nice sky.

Another spectacular shot from behind a moving boat. When I look back at a town with my boat leaving it always make me feel that I am unwilling and reluctant to leave the place. This is exactly the feling I get when I look at this lovely place. It gives a touch of sadness. The clouds are superb and the mountain very appealing. Congratulations!! All the best.
