Photographer's Note
Auschwitz was one of the main pillars of the Holocaust. Initially used as a restraining camp for polish and russian POWs, it was expanded due to the arrival of thousands of jews from all over Europe, resulting in a much larger camp: Birkenau (aka, Auschwitz II). The Nazi SS would gather and separate personal belongings of all prisioners: shoes, glasses, brushes, pots, etc. What was the point of such separation I don't know.
The picture shows the shoes of the prisioners, litered behind a glass wall in one of the buildings (ex-prison) of what is now the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
To remove the strong reflection from the glass I had to put my hand around the front area of the lens.

I like this one. The light is very good. Usually, what I do in this type of compositions (where there is a mass of similar objects) is to isolate one of the objects with a shallow dof to give the viewer a place to anchor its soul. That red shoe in the lower left third is a great contender. I would also boost the red saturation on that shoe. Welcome to TE!

Thanks for the trick «To remove the strong reflection from the glass I had to put my hand around the front area of the lens.»
Placing the lens directly on the glass does'nt give always good results. I prefer your technique.
