Old Jelenia Gora, a photo from Dolnoslaskie, West

Photographer's Note

A colorful street in the town of Jelenia Gora (pop. 87,000) in southwest Poland.

Hopefully there's a sense of depth in the street, you can also see in the foreground 3 means of transportation (bycicle, tram, car), all this surrounded by architecture on 3 sides.

hi daniel, bit pitty for the blue car in the frame, i'd maybe make few steps to the right and try to get rid of the tram even if it ment to include only a part of the tram;
very good colours and contrasts;
charming little town,

I love the sharpness and light you have captured on the buildings here; it almost looks like a coloured in drawing. What camera do you use? I like all the details like the child on the back of the bike and the old man with his stick.

There's a lot going on in this image but none that competes with each other....but I do think that some of the detail on the left could have been cropped to give more impact to those favulous buildings. I like the image anyway.

Really good sharpness and plenty of soft colors. The combination of the three means of transportion is a clever idea, especially the old tramway. So you are starting your "Around the World travel in pictures again", which I like so much.

A perfect composition, in my opinion.
The three means of transport to a side are really well seen, but what I like much are the houses to the right of the image, with the facades of beautiful colors and porches, creating a fantastic perspective in diagonal towards background.
Very well seen frame, with an excellent POV and beautiful colors and good lighting.

Nice composition and great colors and sharpness. Good depth and perspective. I understand why you left the car, but would have left it out: with this architecture and just the two other means of transportation it would have transported us back in time. Just my opinion. With HTML, when you open something, you also have to close it; so the Beginning A is closed by the (/A), the " " and the ()are also in pairs. In all of this you have to substititue > for ) and < for (
I can't put the < in above. If I did, all you would see is the word link and it would be underlined.

all those pastel colors of the facades, the red tram and the blue car on the side as an harmonic reply, a gradiant slight enlightening in to the converging strong pespectitive from right leads your eye along the people to deep in the street, a lot is happening here, a lot of eye-travelling makes you look more theb twice.

the architecture reminds me of Wroclaw, still with fresh memories in my head. Fine composition with the means of transportation.
Also the forth way of transportation is shown and that is, of course, by foot.

Co do samej fotografii, bo to najwazniejsze, to gratuluje Ci wspania³ego przeniesienia tego obrazu na matrycκ. Wiem jak trudno uzyskac taki efekt poniewaΏ wielokrotnie jako mieszkaniec Jeleniej Gσry mia³em okazjκ "postrzelaζ" na placu. Jednak z miernym rezultatem.
