Photographer's Note
In addition to the famous main cities, attractive architecture can sometimes be found in some of Poland's small towns and villages.
For example - lovely Jelenia Gora ("Deer mountain", pop. 87,000), located in Lower Silesia in the southwest corner of Poland.
In the picturesque city there are many interesting architectural monuments representing various epochs: reconstructed Baroque burgher houses with arcades from the 16th and 18th centuries surrounding the market square, the Gothic Town Hall in the middle of the market, the parish church of the 14th century, the Evangelical church of the 18th century and the remnants of medieval fortifications.
The town is a also a tourist center of the Sudety Mountains.
Before 1945 the city was part of Germany and called Hirschberg. After WW2 it was handed over to Poland.

like this image dnaiel, maybe i'd just blow the colours a bit more to have them shine more;
how did you find that tram? do they still use those old cars?

Nice view at the houses. Beautiful perspective and colours. I like also the lamp in the foreground, but the tram disturbs a little this image in my opinion. Hmm, my sites - I`m a mountain guide of Sudety exactly :).

Great diagonal in this image, with a perfect vertical frame that allows to see all the houses us, surrounded by the two beautiful lampposts and with the detail of the street car ahead.
The colors are very pretty, and lighting is good.

Beautiful composition.. the strong impact on the pic are the colorful houses.Their shapes are unique and are really nice to watch.
The position of the Tram is also perfect between the lamp posts.

Great stuff allround Daniel...I like the different coloured buildings, the typical shapes & the lampposts, I'm not sure of the trm, which is a bit out of place IMO..but that's something you can't do much

Well composed and great colors. Your shot is really sharp. I like the perspective. The lampost to the right bothers me a bit because it coincides with the top of the first building and covers it. Is there any country you haven't visited? Regards, Yvonne
