Photographer's Note

After listening to rain pound against the window of my room the night before, I awoke early in the morning to find that my day wasn't going to be spoiled by more rain. The sun was shining bright and not many clouds to be seen. I was making my way across the main square of Krakow, one of the largest squares in Europe, to get to the rail station to catch a bus for a day trip. It was very early in the morning and you could count the number of people in the square with one hand. While rushing across the square I was careful to keep my head down because there were puddles like this all over and I didn't want to step in one. All of a sudden St. Mary's church came into view in this puddle in front of me. I pulled my camera out and snapped this photo. It's turned out to be one of my most favorite photos I've ever taken.
This was taken with a regular camera and I scanned the print onto my computer.
