Photographer's Note

Here in Norway it should be standard to see snow every winter, at least it should.
Acording to myself there is never winter unless there is snow, but sometimes I am really wondering if snow should live up to the expections of kittyhawk : "Snow is ok as long as it falls and comes plowed so I don't have to do it!"
I hear he is getting his camera back today, we should wish him good luck this time!

Well, winter finally arrived in Rogaland... and when it finally arrived it arrived bucketloads.
By the standards of Rogaland, 10 cm of snow is a bit and when we now got around 12-15cm we are quite satisfied. We'll just hope it stays for a few days. (Weather forecast sais it's going to melt today.

I took this photo on top of a summit in a forest close to where I live. This hill is called "Eikeberget" (Oak"mountain") and is about 80-90 meters above sealevel. Considering the sea is only 2 km away that is quite high for this region (I personally call it the Alps of Sola).
This photo was taken looking west, and had it not been for some high trees I would be a ble to give you an impression of the increadible view.
I've taken a lot of photos the latest days and I just need to take my time considering and processing them.
Just have patience and enjoy this one while you wait!
