Photographer's Note
This view is about ten minutes later than my previous upload, to the opposite direction where the sun had set behind hills of Trondenes. Due to daylight saving time the darkest moment is at about 1 AM, but it really does not get much darker than this.

Hello Kari,
It was not very dark but dark enough for the street lights to be automatically turned on. The small dots of light are fine details in the dark silhouette of the town. Nevertheless this is primarily another case of fantastic colours of the sky, perfectly reflected in the sea.

The dark part of the city in centre of the picture, work perfect if contrast, also the together colourfull sky makes your picture interesting.

Another splendid picture with fantastic colours of the clouds!
There is still a lot of light in the sky but the city is already completely shrouded in darkness. Beautiful with the many small lights of the houses.

Hello Kari,
First, you're so lucky to witness such an extraordinary two midnight-light shots in Harstad. A scene like that I'll not experience in my entire life.
You know, I love clouds and I'll not get tired of looking at it. No matter what weather. Especially this, as you said it does not get much darker than this. I don't think I'll able to sleep at this 00:10 am till its begins to become brighter.
It's just so beautiful and mesmerizing.

Hello Kari, Fantastic view in the midnight. Spectacular sky.
You were a month too late to see whiter. In Sankt Petersburg, last year, the night were also not quite white. But it lies considerably lower. Stunning colour of the sea.
