Photographer's Note

Oslo has not as rich architectural heritage as many other European capitals but her new opera house, with clear reference on an iceberg, is certainly one of the most interesting, most original and most valuable modern buildings of Europe. It has much to offer: superb acoustics within the theater hall, an unusually pleasant ambience in the foyer and lobby and a unique attraction for those inhabitants and visitors of Oslo who simply want to have a rest and enjoy the panorama. (Please have a look at the WS.)
Built between 2003 and 2007, architect: the Norwegian company Snhetta.
