Photographer's Note
Outside of Vadso town, there's a place called Krampenes. This is where the Sami people of the region herd their reindeer, to mark the ears of the deer that were born a few months earlier, and to do the necessary slaughtering.
I've tried to capture the consept of destiny. The picture also illustrates the Sami people's respect for the reindeer, as they put pride into taking use of every single part of the dead animal.

this pic is kinda dark/not too clear, but i really like the idea that you tried to capture (life/death). the blood on the skin and the way it's stretched out makes it look pretty dramatic too, in a quiet but violent sort of way. your note was very interesting to read too.
