Photographer's Note

Hammerfest, is the most septentrional city of the world. This shot was taken Salen mountain, from where we have a beautiful sight on the city and the Arctic Ocean. We attend the beginning of one of the boats of the line of the coastal express train, making the supply of the 34 ports of north in the south of Norway. The architecture of the church of Hammerfest that we see on the left, is built on the model of the cod driers, which one can see a little everywhere in the north of Norway. I do not have technical information on the shot, only which I used for the first time a numerical apparatus, and which made me discover and like the photograph at the time of this voyage.
