Photographer's Note
A'dam is well known for its many gracht & thousands of bridges. In this winter day, which was very cloudy, Sun finally decided to come in the end of the afternoon.
I went to a good point of view, from where I could see an alignment of lots of bridges on the Leisegracht.
Sun, in opposition, provided a special, quiet et typical atmosphere to the scene.
Then, I wanted to take a picture which reveal very much the town, with its cyclists.
It wasn't so easy, and I had to wait lot of time for having cyclists on the two bridges at the same time.
I hope you'll enjoy my passience...

Le rendu est superbe, Nicolas, ce que j'apprιcie particuliθrement c'est l'ιcho crιι par le cycliste du fond, encadrι par l'arche du pont. pas de doutes tu as bien cliquι au bon moment. Par ailleurs la maitrise de l'exposition est bien assurιe malgrιle fait que ce soit pris avec un compact qui n'encaisse pas tant qu'un reflex les ιcarts d'exposition.
Le moment juste plus la lumiθre qu'il faut c'est la combinaison gagnante de la photographie. Une trθs bonne photo.

Excellent image, well done!!
Yes, I appreciate your patience!! And the final effect is very attractive, with the dark silhouette of the bikers against the light of the sun.
I also like the reflections of light on the water.

Nicolas, this is my favorite today!
The composition is just superb and the light is absolutely gougeous. I am not so keen on the frame you have chosen though, a bit too thiks perhaps.

You have created a poster to sell the city there Nicolas - excellent work - your patience was very well rewarded - the vision and composition are superb abd it is realised so well in this difficult light.

A well seen shot. Your patience definately paid off with the silhouettes contrasting against the low sun.
The colored almost two tone works very well here with this compo under the bridges from this well choosen low POV.
