The Hague, 5th of July '06.
A high temperature day, certainly for this old man living on the first floor in the centre of the city. First I thought the man was undressed, but that's not the truth. He wears a rather decent shirt.
I also like the age-related lace curtains.

I would have preferred this if the man was turned more towards the window so that more of his face was visible, but I still think its a good shot.
Its well composed, and its a welcome touch of humour on these sometimes too serious pages.

A lovely picture! You can't show current life better. Here we live in an oven, and I think you in the Netherlands too. I can imagine the old man watching the street from his pillow...
