Hello Gerrit, a superbly sharp shot of the Iguana,an amazing creature with the wonderful patterning and colouring of its' skin.
I am sad to hear that they are eaten!
I like the bokeh which accentuates the sharp picture.

Hello Gerrit,
It's a fantastic creature, totally fascinating, and you found a perfect angle and environment for this photo. A few years ago I saw an Iranian movie about a filmmaker in a house arrest, sitting alone at home with only an iguana for company. It's amazing that they can get as tame as a cat or a dog. It's amazing as well to find an animal like this in "Netherlands, Europe": ;-)

Ergens lijkt deze iguana wat op een draak maar dan toch op een heel mooie.
Je toont ons hier een fantastisch prachtige en uiterst scherpe foto van dit diertje dat zich vastgrijpt op de rots.
Echt mooi tegenover de wazige blauwe achtergrond.

an excellent shot of this "dinosaur":) I like these fascinating animals(I had a boa! and a Burmese python for many years ago) I like the fact that this shot is taken in free nature and not in a zoo. Wonderful colors and a pin sharp picture, well done!

Except for the green color which I am sure would help camouflage it in the forest. Good sharpness and the oof overarching bg branch helps frame it. Tfs!
