I just saw another photo of the Sint-Lievensmonstertoren on the Gallery today - by Paula-iw and as I have lived many years on the Island of Shouwen-Duivenland I thought it would be nice to add this colour version of it... :)
Source / Wikipedia: The Sint-Lievensmonstertoren (English: Saint-Livinus Monster Tower), is also known as the Dikke Toren (or Fat Tower)
It is a 62 metre tall, unfinished, free standing church tower in Zierikzee, Netherlands. The accompanying church was destroyed by a fire in 1832.

Salut Viviane,merci pour ton travail pour treknature qui finalement marche.Une perspective imposante,et avec les couleurs est sans doute meilleure pour mes gouts.Details et exposition parfaicts,tu etait deja une excellente photographe il y a 12 ans..ehehe....merci et belle journee',en esperant que quelque moderateur ne regarde tes notes depuis Wiki sans que toi a ajoute' la source..ehehhe....Luciano.

Hi,
Nice to see another point of view.
This tower dominates over Zierikzee.
And did you climb to the top?! There is a fantastic view of the whole town and surrounding area!
I will be in July in Zeeland and try to capture it in full!

Hi Viviane
Crisp colors; Grey and blue; more or less 50-50. I think it's a fine graphical composition - the lines in the wall (especially the horizontal ones) have a great effect.
I like this kind of compowith details and an alternative POV.

Howdy Viviane,
Different and interesting, looking skyward view of Sint-Lievensmonstertoren's architecture - rectangular corner columns, neo gothic details, and block construction textures, etc.
One gets different emotions, when standing at the base of a multiple story structure and looks straight up.
