Photographer's Note
ATR 72 of American Eagle arrives from Puerto Rico to Princess Juliana Airport of Sint Maarten.
Flights under American Eagle brand from Puerto Rico were operated by Executive Airlines, a fully owned subsidiary of AMR Corporation, which is also the owner of American Airlines. According to Wikipedia last flights by Executive Airlines were operated on Sunday, March 31, 2013.
This old (and dirty bellied) ATR was stored already in April, 2011.

Hi Kari - no comments yet on this one, which surprises me! I think it's a really cool shot, and an angle we very rarely see; I like that you've gotten a prop plane too, as the movement of the rotors is amazing here. Great sense of both size and speed to the shot, and very well taken. Thanks!

Hi Kari,
Excellent airplane detail photo with very nice colors, perfect light, very good clarity, well chosen tight crop. Well done.
I was flying with this "Eagle Bird" from Miami to Nassau, nice experience.

oh I know this one,but unfortunately only from TV,but I bet it must be great feeling when a plane is overflying the beach where you lies only few meters above.Ok.it΄s only ATR,but what when you see good 747?

Great pov of this airplane! Good camera setting, I usually used 1/400 of a second when taking pictures of propeller airplanes. Good lighting and dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

Hi Kari,
The tight frame is putting the aircraft in evidence. The point of view is showing the dιtails and colour of the American Eagle ATR-72. The good luminosity is giving nice tints to the colours. Have a nice day.
