Photographer's Note
Amsterdam - EYE Filmmuseum.
Amsterdam - EYE Filmmuseum.
two days ago the EYE film museum finally opened its doors to the public. I had published a photo of this museum a few months ago, when the construction site had not been removed yet and the grounds around the museum were still not accessible. Today I could finally see also the inside of this interesting building. besides a number of theatres, the museum has a fantastic foyer overlooking the Ij, an upper level with a view on the canal, a cinematic shop with lots of film related books and gadgets, and an interactive lower level where you can sit in a booth and play quizzes against a movie-savvy computer, or watch old movies from the museum library, or - like these two girls - project your own silhouette against your personal screen :)
in the WS a view of the foyer and of part the exterior of the building.

Hallo Cristina,

Sei sempre cosi tanto bravissima Cris.
Buon lunedi. :)

Hi Cristina,
interesting place! I love how you framed that with all that negative space on the right. Very cinematographic indeed!

Ciao Cristina,
I hope you enjoy your Easter break. This reminds me a little of Korkut, but with your signautre tones, a slight sepia rather than hard contrasting B&W. Very cool, very noir.
Cheers

Hello Cristina
Very good framing with the screen in perspective, and the 2 girls and their silhouettes. Very good light management and nice (as usual) B&W picture.
