Photographer's Note
Good Morning Everyone,
As the last of my photographs from the Krφller-Mόller Museum of Art in Otterlo (for the time being), I wanted to illustrate how lights can be used as art.
I deliberated about which one to use as my main post and decided this had to be the one. The lights create such a lovely, golden 'V' shape on the corridor, changing their shapes from verticals to horizontals. The coloured lights were also picked up as reflections on the walls and ceiling.
Who could resist, following this lead!
I will post another couple of photographs which turn lights into art forms.
Thank you for your interest and have a lovely day, Bev :-)

Hi Bev,3 nice pics very artistic from this art museum of Netherland. It's art too to take original perspectives like yours too,the main is lovely but for me the red circles reflected in a composition so sharp and bright is the best! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hi Bev,
great series of photos. My favourite is one of the workshops where you combined the neon light with the reality outside.
You are so creative, I wouldn't probably notice some these opportunities.
Great reportage from TE meeting!
Have a nice weekend,
M

Hello Bev,
This makes me smile. In museums for modern art it is sometimes difficult to know what is art and what is just a part of the furnishing. The red neon light in the WS obviously has some artistic intention, but what about these lights? My guess is they have just a practical purpose, but who knows, really? You used the reflections on the floor to make a truly artistic composition, but was this the designers' and electricians' intention?
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Beverley, a very interesting point of view that is open to interpretation. At one point I thought that you were looking up into a narrow space where the floor was possibly the wall!
A creative shot.
All three are an invitation to go and explore this fascinating museum.
I hope that you will be able to share more from here in the future.
Kind regards,
Jean.

Hello Beverley,
A great view of this long and narrow corridor, whose got such a nice and warm glow thanks to the row of vertical lights, which also seem to create some kind of ladder when you tilt your head to the left. Very well captured and exposed.

Good morning Beverley,
Three photos about this subject, but as I said few times ago - I take the liberty to state once more: the No.1 WS worth a main post of its one, merely my humble opinion, it has all the elements to attract first sight.
Nice ides, good depth on the main photo.
Wish you a nice weekend,
Ike

Hello Bev, Is it art here? It looks, for me, just like a corridor with the lamps. But good photo with the great depth. The pictures from WS seem more interesting.
Have a nice weekend

There’s a strong rhythm to be enjoyed here, Bev. And the way the eye is led straight to the light forms a pleasant graphic adventure. The reflections on the floor add to this. And the narrow portrait frame was really the way to here – it’s essential for the visual journey. The pics in the WS are valuable too, I’m drawn to image #1, where the neon sign is like an apparition. Very good work. Warm regards, Bert.

bev
well seen this corridor with the repetitive light creating a special artistic pattern. I liked the WS too. in my last trips I only saw traditional art, almost nothing modern..
take care

Hello, Bev!
That's a photo I wouldn't imagine taking if I was there, but the result is great! You found art in an unexpected place, and the lights are shown with very nice perspective, which gives very good depth to the composition! Excellent job!

Hi bev
we don't know if it's the ground or ceiling, I suppose that the museum people have no idea what gem they have!
Cheers
