Photographer's Note
Gulf of Kotor is one of most original geological entity in the whole world. Composed of several smaller broad gulfs, united by narrower channels, forming one of the finest natural harbours in Europe, it looks like a fjord. Really the gulf inlet was formally a river system. Very intensive tectonics and karstification processes led to the disintegration of this river. After heavy rain the famous waterfall of Sopot spring at Risan appears and Skurda, another well known spring runs through a canyon from Lovcen. Hope you enjoy the picture and have a nice weekend.

I always wanted to see pictures of that gulf I discovered on GoogleEarth! And you picture is a good one. You let us appreciate the calmness of the gulf with those reflections of the mountains at the right. Great landscape picture.
