Photographer's Note

I took this photo from the fotress Kale in the center of Skopje. This is the view of one of the oldest mosques in Macedonia which dates from the 15th centenary (I think it was, I have to recheck it) it was build by one the Roulers of the Ottoman Empire for the Skopje District.

What is good to empasize is that this mosque survived few very big and destructive earthquakes which resulted with crashing of most of the buildings in Skopje. The last one was 26th of July 1963 which also was the most destructive.
