This photo was taken in Saulkrasti - the town closer to the Sun. Saulkrasti is situated close to Riga, on the coast of the Gulf of Riga. It lies in the heart of nature - romantic sunsets, blue sea and beautiful sands.

Hi Oleg,
The eye of someone who knows what he is doing. Composition, framing and presentation, it all fits wonderful in this soft serene landscape scenery. Good to see that film still can do magic when being in the right hands, and you have those hands. A wonderful presentation, it's been long ago since i saw such a good film scan here on TE...congratulations.

Nice compositional interplay between river line, land and and sea/sky horizon. The tonality and light are excellent.

Hi Oleg Tiunchik,
I was attracted to this photograph for its varying shades of gray and I realized you've taken this in film, which is absolutely perfect medium for BW photographs.
This photograph has a really good composition and controlled light. Well done.
