Building on Vīlandes iela 1 (Riga) designed by Rudolf Zirkwitz
Rudolf Heinrich Zirkwitz ( 1857 – 1926) was a Baltic German architect working in present-day Latvia.Rudolf Heinrich Zirkwitz studied at the Riga Polytechnic Institute (today Riga Technical University) and graduated in 1882.
As an architect, he designed around 25 multi-storey apartment buildings in Riga and also supplied the plans for Igate Manor and plans for the rebuilding of Bīriņi Palace. The buildings he designed were Eclectic, with occasional influences from Art Nouveau. Many of the buildings designed by Zirkwitz in Riga were built during the heyday of Art Nouveau architecture in the city.

The trees are framing well the uilding. The point of view is showing a double perspective of the architecture of the building. The colors are beautiful. Have a nice day.

There are many stunning art nouveau buildings in Riga, more in fact than Paris! I had the pleasure of visiting this town and was suitably impressed. A good angled pov with excellent sharpness and lighting contrasts. Tfs!

Piotr, the picture illustrates what looks like an art nouveau building for those who do not know anything about architecture like me. It is surmonted by a little tower. The elegant facade includes many windows and some balconies. Fine colors, good image quality, instructive photo note, regards.

Piekny przyklad secesyjnej architektury w Rydze. Super prezentacja.
Nie jest latwo poruszac sie w AS.Riyadh ma 6,5 mln mieszkancow a nie ma transportu publicznego.
