Your capture of the bright light at noon hour (of course in Malaysia it will be directly overhead and very hot) has a good effect on the scenery especially the face of the this man sitting on the bench, as well as the cluster of buildings across the water, thereby giving a little reflection on the water.
I wonder why the street lamp is still on? This is an island and it is not a river?
How will the view be from other side of the water?
You have a good shot of the view and I really find the scenic place very attractive.
