Immagine dalla Galleria, dopo una nevicata, si possono notare i gruppi delle 5 Torri (a sx) e Nuvolao (a dx)
Dalla strada statale che da Cortina porta al Passo Falzarego (quota 1.800 m segnavia 402) parte una carrareccia che porta alla Forcella Bois e consente di raggiungere la Valle Travenanzes nell'altro versante, oltre al magnifico panorama consente anche di vedere i resti dei vecchi muri e delle costruzioni di ricovero ospedaliero della “Grande Guerra”. La mulattiera costruita dagli alpini nella Guerra 1915-18 alla base del Col dei Bois permette di ammirare le Torri del Falzarego, verticali pareti di 250m di altezza, magnificamente compatte ed attrezzate come ideale terreno di gioco per gli alpinisti. In questa zona si trovano spesso numerosi camosci, data l'esposizione a sud che favorisce lo scioglimento della neve..

Unusual frame for such a wonderful winter view.. another passage we are taking on our way for skiing? :)
Clever idea for the contrast of black and white which additionally underlines beauty and unreality od the landscape.

Hello Andrea,
An excellent landscape outside of the tunnel! I love the reduced color range. My only nit is that I would have liked it if you used the flash to light up the inside of the tunnel, just enough to differentiate it from the black frame! Really an outstanding contribution to the site! Well done! Thank you!

Hi Andrea,great use of the tunnel as a frame & by keeping it dark & free of detail you make our eyes go directly into the winter scene,which has all the detail one needs to see,tack sharp,great composition,vibrant winter scene,well seen & well presented.

This is a magnificent shot, with some very subtle colors. Initially, I thought it was b&w, but in the sky there are some slight blues. You have framed it beautifully in the mouth of the cave. Congratulations, and warm regards from Virginia, USA.

What a beautiful shot Andrea. This tunnel provides an excellent natural frame for that great scene beyond. The scene itself would be great anyway with that drifting snow and great cloud cover over those hills, but the tunnel really acts as a bonus here.

Questa e' veramente un pezzo da 90, come si suol dire. La cornice del tunnel esalta la scena e la rende quasi irreale. Mi piace anche molto la presenza del segnale stradale, che aggiunge (stranamente) un qualcosa in piu.m Dico stranamente perche di solito nei paesaggi i segnali stradali sono i nemici del fotografo. Veramente una bella foto.

Bella idea di prendere la fotografia dell'interno del tunnel. E piω del contrasto che afferra, ciς rende il paesaggio ancora piω selvaggio. Mi piace queste nuvole appese, si direbbe quasi una valanga.

I like this one very much, from the dark to the light, from black to white almost, which enhances the details, but for that bit of blue sky...The street sign gives a sense of humour, and the view is beautiful as is the texture of the snow.
